We were sent a review copy to watch and we really enjoyed it. Lots of action going on and a great storyline.

Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil and her cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

How Do You Keep the Children Entertained at Half Term?

How Do You Keep the Children Entertained

Its half term next and we are very excited as we are off to Butlin’s for the week. This means I don’t have to worry about entertaining a 2 and 6 year old as it’s all done for me.

However I am normally stuck at home with two children that get bored very easily. I don’t drive and there isn’t much to do close by. In the summer it’s not too bad as we go to the park and play in the garden but February is the dankest most miserable holiday of all.

We try to have one day when daddy is day off and then it’s a mixture of crafts, baking and lots of movies and popcorn!

I have run out of inspiration so I ask some bloggers how they spend half term:

School clubs, visit family, sleepover, baking, film afternoon, make dens. Same as a weekend really.  If you plan loads and pack the holiday it makes your life stressful and they never learn to entertain themselves. Snaffles Mummy

Lots of National Trust days out, loads of fresh air, lazy pj days, and a treat like bowling or cinema Rachel Lucas

Arrange a few playdates with friends. Plan craft days and baking days. Emmy’s Mummy

I usually try to book one workshop or activity per child – have failed to book anything this time, however! Antonia Chitty

And probably my favourite one..

Give them the chance to see what I do all day whilst they are at school by getting them to help with housework.  Domesticgoddesque

What do have planned for this half term?

How do you keep the children entertained?
