6 Spooky Halloween Games

Planning a Halloween party? We’ve already given you great ideas for Halloween food and a free printable spooky garland to decorate. Now its time for the party games!

Bobbing for Apples

A classic game but a good one. You just need a bowl/bucket of water and some apples. Let each child try to get a apple just using their teeth. You may want to have a few towels on hand to dry off and cover the floor.

Bobbing for Marshmallows

This one is a little bit messier but so much fun. You need plain flower and white marshmallows. Cover a large plate in flour and mix in the marshmallows. Each child has to find a marshmallow in the flour just using their teeth.

Halloween Mystery Boxes.

We love this game from Christina’s Adventures. Lots of fun to be had with these boxes.

Thrifty Tips: Cashback Sites

Cashback Sites (1)Cashback sites are a great way to get money back from your online shopping and it’s so simple to do.

All you have to do is sign up with a Cashback site, and then every time you buy something online check to see if the site is a partner of the Cashback site and click through to the desired site through them and earn Cashback on your purchases.

It could be worth over £200 a year using Cashback sites plus many of them also have coupons and voucher codes which are an added bonus.

There are a few sites you can choose from; my advice would be stick to one as most won’t pay any money out until you have earned a certain amount.  Have a look through the list below and look who they are partnered with and what site would be more beneficial for you and your family.

Cashback Kings

Mirror Cashback

Kid Start  is Cashback site with a difference as you the money you get back goes into  your child’s bank account or Childs Trust Fund, so you save for them as your spend.

Whatever one you choose make sure it’s right for you.

You can find a Cashback-Site Maximiser on Money Saving Expert, which compares the Cashback sites for you. However it would mean using different sites each time which means money all over the place, personally I prefer it to be in one place but that’s just me.

Do check out these sites and see how much you could earn back.
